Gary Thomas is a pastor, bestselling author, and speaker whose ministry focuses on helping people grow closer to Christ and one another. He has authored more than 20 books, selling over three million copies in more than 15 languages, including Sacred Marriage, The Sacred Search, When to Walk Away, and the award-winning Authentic Faith.

Gary serves as Teaching Pastor at Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and has spoken in all 50 states and nine countries. He holds a master’s degree in systematic theology from Regent College and an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Western Seminary.

Gary and his wife, Lisa, have been married for 38 years and have three adult children and two grandchildren. An avid runner, Gary has completed 14 marathons, including the Boston Marathon three times.
